About the development
Mountain Shores is being developed in three phases at Kootenay Lake. This lake is so large that it never freezes over, allowing for year round recreation!
Phase I
Resort side- which has 12 lakefront lots and 22 smaller lake house lots is a private gated resort property, on the tranquil shores of Kootenay Lake, bounded by the Selkirk Mountain range to the west and the Purcell range to the east.The Resort side is gated, paved, with a private marina, private pool and beach. Each lot comes with a leased boat slip. All lots have been sold with a timeframe to build. Call us to see if there are any re-sales.
Phase II
Mountain Shores Acreage Estates - overlooks Kootenay Lake and consists of 28 lots sized between approximately 0.6 to 2.5 acres, with the average lot that you see being about 1 acre. The lots overlook the water, several with 180 degree views. There is no timeframe to build on the acreage side. The first 14 lot sales on the acreage side have the option of a leased boat slip.
